I can take it in small doses lately. It gets old, but there's a lot of dreams fulfilled and many many more broken in that little strip of L.A. thats for sure.

i think they're excited to go onto compete at the next level. i don't think it has very much to do with the location... if they told those kids they were going onto the next round in antarctica they would be just as excited.

hollywood sucks.

we had so many film crews who rent out the street and good luck finding parking . these hollywood film crews will rent the courtyard of your apartment building (at the time we were in apt) and wed find people rehearsing lines in my parking spotZ!!

We'd come home from running and errand and find 18wheeler film crews taking up parking down the whole street and and anyone who claims to like hollywood just never been there.

Hollywood is still one of the most exciting places to many people (obviously not those who live there or near by..)
Personally i think Hollywood physically has really come out these past 5-10 years..
being in Hollywood in the early 90's and it was a real dump, it is a much more exciting place now. but TV viewers and fans always connect Hollywood with stars and celebrities, almost more like a "virtual" place..
