General Electric approved .31 per quarter dividend
I've never purchased a stock because of the dividend even though that was the original point back in the day. GE's dividend is 31 cents per share per quarter and shares are only $11. Thats about an 11% return per year.
As a person who has never purchased because of the dividend I don't know if this is common but it seems to be it is too good to be true and it is probably only being offered to sell some stock, then the stock will drop farther, then they will reduce the dividend. Any thoughts? tempting...

if i remember correctly their dividend used to be pretty much the some like those 31 cents... they want to keep dividends stable even though the share price has been down
google dividend signaling ![]() they will avoid reducing the dividend.. you should be fine from a dividend perspective... |
