We have been being told all weekend to gear up and get ready, our yearly ice storm is on it's way to us as we speak. It's supposed to start in a few hours and be so bad it could knock out our power...... I love the snow, but I HATE ice more than anything, you just can't move anywhere to do anything.

I made all the kids plugin all their "gadgets" to get them all charged... and we have a fireplace.. so at least the kids will be entertained and we'll be warm, just may have to do it in the damn dark. lol

I am located in Western Kentucky..... we won't be getting much snow here I don't think, just that damn ice shit..... we usually get more ice than snow here where I am. Or it misses us completely.... snow is very rare here anymore unless it's just a dusting of it.

We have got hammered with snow for the past three days and it is supposed to keep coming down until tomorrow evening. Nothing like over a foot of snow and -10 windchill temps!

Scott, that's how they are portraying this, I swear. They say this could be a history making ice storm, so I am hoping it isn't going to be THAT bad.

But just in case, we just went and stocked up on flashlights and other needed things. I think I am more worried about his studio, so we had to go buy stock in kerosene to keep his equipment warm.

Already did a little bit of damage to my car when I hit a patch of ice and went off into a ditch, this was a week or two ago when we barely had anything... ice sucks.
