My newest and coolest (imo) iPhone app is called Dynolicious. They market it as a dyno in your pocket and so far its been pretty damn solid. It uses the weight of your car along with the iPhones built in accelerometer to give you 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 miles run times, braking times and distances, how many G's your pulling while accelerating, braking and cornering, and even how much horsepower your putting out at the engine and at the wheels. It's off by a +/-0.08 which is outstanding for a lil $12 dyno in your pocket

I think its a very cool way to tap into the potential of an iPhone.

Remote is a great app. Facebook and Myspace really help maintaining your 'social networking', Google App. as well as Google Earth rock both! I love PocketGuitar and WhiteNoise too.
X-plane is awesome. But also is iBeer too

All in all, dozens of kick ass apps

which make me love my iPhonie even more :D

The killer app for any smart phone is a SIP client. But I don't think there is one for iPhone. The phone companies that have exclusive licensing deals would take a shit if there was.

(I have jail broken my Iphone so I have access to some apps that blow anything away offered in the "app Store")

But my favorites,
Qik (Which allows me to record video streams live to the Qik website.) Works flawlessly.

Ocarina (In app store)

Pano (In App Store)

Cycorder (Jailbroken app) Full video recording to the iphone.

Clinometer (App Store)

Live Poker (app store)

For My 2 year old...
Animals,Vehicles, and Mooshake (She already takes my Iphone, slides it on, navigates to the screens where her apps are and plays them, then views the pictures and video on the phone, and always changes my settings for ringtones etc (House MD currently)
