I hate the fact that I see it happening all over the world.

Yesterday I was hanging out with some friends, and one girl microwaved her food in Styrofoam. When she did it I said WTF are you doing... don't fucking do that are you nuts?!

She had no idea what I was talking about. I had to explain that her burrito was essentially an acetone burrito. She said she has been doing that every few days for 10 years.

That's a very small, very isolated case.

So what you are saying is ... plants crave acetone?

I thought they craved electrolytes.

Face it… the movie makes a valid point in it's commentary on society.

Realistic? I would not say that? Valid point made in a comedic way yes ?
Allow me to paraphrase my history teacher and say? in all of history societies either move forward or they fail, there has never been another outcome.

I will go you one better... The funniest/scariest part of the movie is how many people DON'T see or understand the social commentary behind it.

And btw... I saw a young girl the other day in a store wearing pajama type pants spattered with Mt. Dew logos. I can't believe they really make shit like that.

It was criminal. All the people who had seen the movie were raving about it and it practically went straight to DVD.

Showing the passage of time through the evolution of FUDDRUCKERS into BUTTFUCKERS was classic.

As a reasonably intelligent human being I get frustrated when google mashes up my entered search terms into what it believes is what I want. Or is that what it believes is best for me? I've come to realise that they don't need to please everyone, just the majority... who will appreciate this hand holding and gentle scolding.

(Recently I've noticed that entering two dictionary words together will return results for them separated. Even if you really did want that as a single word. You have to put a single word in QUOTES to get the results you actually wanted in the first place.)

Yeah, I mean. When I was watching it I was like, "Uhm this is pretty good - how come I never heard about it coming out?" *wiki* "Oh right. Because Murdoch is a douchebag."

Nice site, by the way. Will remember it for the future if we ever need anything like that for a project.

I know it's just a movie, but it makes no sense whatsoever within itself.

If everyone in the future is a total moron there would be zero functioning machines, alarms, alerts, electricity - there would be no one to enforce laws, rules - All drinks and foods would be toxic, etc. etc...

It was kind of funny (not really), but otherwise it was wholly implausible. Hardly a realistic prediction of any future that could ever exist. Mad Max is much more realistic.
