The highest porn consumption per capita on broadband cable at 5.47/1000 users is Utah according to the New Scientist Magazine.

I saw a story a few years ago about a guy in Provo Utah that ran a small video store. They had something like 15 adult titles in a small area behind the counter you could rent. You had to ask to see the list or the box. He got was arrested on obscenity charges and went to trial. The first trial ended in a hung jury. At the second trial the guy was broke and had to use a public defender. The public defender found out that there was more porn available on pay per view in the Marriott across from the courthouse than in this guys video store. He also found out how many per per view porn movies were purchased through the cable company. It turns out so called conservative Provo bought pay per view porn at a rate of 10 times the national average for a city of its size. He was found innocent.

Clearly they want the porn in the conservative areas, they just don't want to talk about it or admit to it.
