Went to see the Whitesnake and Judas Priest revivals last night (VID)

Feeling like if I would absolved a boxing match, can't move my neck.

Whitesnake were great, old school guys in their 50's and the singer was just incredible, singing Coverdale ain't easy.

Judas Priest are claimed to be the best revival band in Europe, playing together for 10 years now - all 1982 tour image with an incredible show, and I would dare to say better than the original, as far as I saw Judas in July last year and was a little bit disappointed as it didn't had the balls I expected.

Halford is impossible to duplicate but their singer actually does a great job.

The guitarist is a great buddy of mine, here's his solo from "Beyond the realms of death" I found on youtube, the singer seems to be wasted:

I bet he is, why wouldn't he?

Actually the new album "Good to be Bad" is pretty good, just got it two days ago.

I saw them with Halford last summer,

But they played a lot of stuff from the Nostradamus album which I don't like, so it kind of sucked to me.

That's a great song, I used to play it when I have sex with women.

As a bass player in a metal band back in my youth that played a lot of Priest it really took me back.

I don't think it was that bad actually, but Judas without Halford is like Maiden without Dickinson - it's just not the same band, so I'm glad they both reunited, although it's more like seeing it through the eyes of nostalgy.

Halford solo was pretty cool though, Resurrection and Crucible are both hell of a great records.

I think the original poster is talking about Whitesnake and Judas Priest cover bands, not the original bands who have both been touring with their original singers recently.

Yeah those were revivals how it's called here or cover bands.

I doubt Whitesnake would ever do a tour with Judas Priest, they would have to double the price for the tickets

Hah yeah, well if you would take it like this it would be a bit disturbing, but then you couldn't fuck on any of the Queen or George Michael songs neither..

Nikka check the new album from Whitesnake - it's a hard rock university.

I was really surprised, but it's excellent!
