My microwave keeps beeping

Started this about a week ago. It just randomly starts beeping. Pretty annoying... have to unplug it so it stops. Maybe it's trying to tell me to save the world by using less electricity?

Anyone else have a possessed microwave?

I did that a couple weeks ago when the time changed. Although now that you mention it, it has started up since that took place. Will have to check into that...

I swear to God nothing I own never works right. User error!

Why would I run out and replace a microwave that is probably perfectly fine just because it's beeping?

Because that has to be fucking annoying? And why would you want to deal with that?

I want to fix it! If I replaced everything that didn't quite work right I would go broke in no time.

I bought the microwave at the end of 2007.

I have a smoke detector that does not detect smoke, but it does detect humidity.

I'm thinking of reselling it as a 'rain detector'.

Having lived on staten island for a little while, let me be the first to say that place stinks to high hell and I can't imagine "enjoying" myself wandering around on top of it. lol

Leave coke out of it. They already spent 60 million on a new plant that will reuse or recycle 100% of its plastic and aluminum cans. The plant will go online early 2010. Pepsi on the other hand is kicking and screaming, best they will do is buy their electricity from green sources.

Back to you Sly since the beep is more than likely just something stupid and annoying. Can you not just add it to a power strip. Then turn the power strip off when it is not in use. The damn microwave and a few others like coffee makers are using up your electricity when not in use due to stupid functions anyways. Honestly who needs so damn many clocks in one room that also run on electricity when you can get one that ones on springs and weights or at very least rechargeable batteries.

wait, I had this once. this is very common.
first thing you have to do is check the manual for this kind of technical issue, if you don't have the manual paper book than look it up at the Internet, or you can follow this online set of instructions which usually this solves the problem, but unplug it first:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=Q5APPT7Rc8o

after you follow through the video plug it back in and it should work just fine
