I am looking at megaporn.com, they have a program where they promise to pay on video views. I know many of you dont like them as they seem to post illegal videos, but maybe to use them as "hosting" for sponsor clips and embed those on a page with related ads would be a good idea. Anyone tried it and got paid on the video views?

I'm pretty sure you have to own the rights to the videos uploaded to get paid by them.

So basically they let the folks using them fill their site with videos, telling them they will get paid for that, then they wont pay them what they promised because they didnt own the rights? Sounds like a plan

I've written many a DMCA to them and they take them down fast. They know me and when I told them I would give them content for them to pay me they never replied. First step will be to get them to reply. Whether or not they will pay is something I don't know.

I would imagine it's a bit risky to trust a company that makes its money off stolen content. Like trusting a thief to pay you your cut.
