Whats your price on 30mbs Dual/Quad core server?

So whats your price on a :

managed 30mbs dual or quad core server.
2 gig mem
2x 350gig hd's

If you could throw in some uptime, and if your support didn't take 8 hours to wake up it would be nice too

Good business model, they should be in bankruptcy court shortly... any host that sells below there cost is grasping at straws ans cannot last.

I take my business very serious and i wouldnt put it in the hands of any host other than TechieMedia. I've tried many and tried saving a few pennies and in the end nobody comes close. If you need to simply go with the absolute cheapest host then most likely you will fail anyway. Just my experience, I go with quality and it has been working.

Softlayer buys from internap,10 tb from softlayer,i from 10tb,and other from me.
And everyone gets super discount because we ressell/sell hosting and getting large quantity of bandwidth .

im paying 199$ a piece for a few now, they are currently having a special, i might order more, but I dont care what people say, the price is just right for the amount of bandwidth roughly 30mbps, support is answered usally in 5 mins, havent had a single downtime.

10:22AM up 316 days, 23:57, 2 users, load averages: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00

coming up on a year with them shortly.

Everyone I know has had no issues.

Same here, so long as you don't have overage they're perfect. They're stubborn as hell though, they won't lower their price on the initial servers I got and the volume discount only after 5 servers. Whats the current discount?

They have a special right now for $179 with 8 gigs of ram.

Im paying $199 now with 4 gigs, I would have to get new servers for the new price, which is pretty lame.

I also have virtual with them, and they changed the prices as well, I would have to also buy at the new price.

They told me the same, if you want the new price, close existing servers and get new ones. Its too much of a hassle which is probably what they're hoping for. How long does that special last for btw?

No idea, I might upgrade virtual, my virtual only has 50 mysqldb limit, and the new pricing includes unlimited.

Though there is not way in hell you are able to match the prices we are after. This is not a premium hosting deal .. as yours is a premium product.

I already have a box with you guys and we are very happy with it.

Though there is not way in hell you are able to match the prices we are after. This is not a premium hosting deal .. as yours is a premium product.
Looks like we're after the same thing as the hardware specs is identical to what I'm shopping for too. Hope you don't mind me piggybacking in your thread ;)
