I'm currently in the progress to start a kind of dating/social networking site and I reviewed most of thoses scripts but I think ill go customs. The main reasons is thats most of them doesnt have few fonction that im looking for like videochat.
www.datingpro.com have the videochat but I found out that they refer you to a 3rd party after that charge for the bandwith (you can't host everything). I recommand you to list all features you want on your website then look for the scripts. I my case none of them got it all so I decided to go customs: more expensive, but 100% customizable. Your budget is really important too.
