Could you provide a summary of what it is? I clicked for the plugin but it wanted me to download some .plugin file, which I and surely each normal internet surfer would have no idea how what to do with.

it's plug in for PlayOn. PlayOn is a program that allows you to watch thing like Netflix, Hulu videos, ESPN among others on your TV via a PS3 or XBOX 360. This particular plugin supposedly allows one to watch RedTube videos on their TV.
