USA VS Brazil

Well its half time and we are already down 2-0. I hope coach Bradley enjoyed the run, because I don't see how he can stay as the coach if the US qualifies for the World Cup.

3-0...this is one of the most embarrassing losses the US has had in quite some time. I can't believe how bad we look. You would sweat is was 8 vs 11 out there.

Worst game I have seen them play in recent time. I question Bob Bradley's picks. IMO Dempsey and Beasley should not have been starting. Dempsey doesn't show the same desire he shows for Fulham and Beasley is just not in good form.

You have a very good player in Torres on the bench.

We have taken 10 steps backwards...

Coaches pick players based on form, why would you not include the player who has the best form out of your whole team? That doesnt make sense. If he didnt include Dempsey people would question why he never included arguabaly your best player.

Well, it really was an easy game for Brazil. And we were playing with half of the original team only. Quite a lot of players were spared.

Well I hope thats the last time we see Beasly in a US uniform. Seems like a nice guy, but he is of zero value to this team.

Just checked the FIFA ranking...US is #14

http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/ra...llranking.html

Let's see how that ranking holds when we loose by 2 to Egypt.

I agree w/ your point when he is playing at Fulham, but for the NATS he hasn't been in good form IMO. I miss the Clint Dempsey during the last WC, who scored against Ghana.

What happened to Adu?

Donovan IMO is an overrated player , he can only look good in MLS.

I couldn't agree more..I can't wait for him to retire from the National Team. He's great at taking PKs, other than that I think it's all US hype and good game against Mexico.

This rank is a fraud! Focuses only European teams and noes not present the reality of world football.

USA has climbed from 22nd to 14th since JAN of this year... but still, the USA is not a place where that many people care about Soccer/Football. The NFL, MLB and NBA dominate here... and for good reason.

Italy may drop a spot or 2 if this 0-1 score against Egypt holds up. I have to say Egypt has played very well the last 2 games...been very impressed. #40 in the world. They have to break the top 30.

That's why the USA wont ever produce a #1 ranked team!

If they can learn to keep more than 10 in a game.. they might actually qualify for the WC!

I haven't watched the game yet but from everything I hear it's not going to be pretty when I get home.

A coach has to do a couple things well:

1. putting the best 11 on the field.
- Hes not doing that. Kljestan, Dempsey, Beasley have no preformed well in ages. They aren't playing because they're in good form, they're playing because Bob Bradley has ties to all of them and US players in general. They grew up in front of him. They are friends with his son. If he doesn't play them he's going to hurt feelings. He's a pussy.

Torres, Adu, Davies on the bench??? These are the guys he subs once in a blue moon and completely change the game around. Why not give them bigger rolls on the team. They have the flash, confidence and skill that we need. Connor Casey... are you kidding me. Play Davies who's fast as fuck, and can control the ball a bit. Kenny cooper who not only can control the ball but can finish and is built like a fucking truck.

I want a new coach to come in and clean house. No ties to youth players turned pros. The best players play and that's it. Michael Bradley sucked for the first 10 games he played but he played because that's his son. Who else has that luxury?

2. Lighting a fire under the players asses.
- Ex. You have a player get a red card? Yell at him. Yell at the team. Wake them the fuck up. Show some passion. These aren't throwaway games. You're in a international tournament. The world is watching. Show some damn pride and passion. This guy has been experimenting with line ups and positions since hes got here and hes doing the same thing every other shitty coach we've had has done: just get by. Not impress or preform but barely do enough to be mediocre. I'm tired of that. If you aren't going to take a tournament seriously then don't go. Don't waste my time.

3. Make tactical changes
- His subs are laughable. They make little to no sense and they don't preform.

4. Identify weakness and fix them.
- weakness: pass back every 2 seconds, never face a defender and take them on, no passion, no style, no confidence, no creativity. Has he done anything to fix this?

Jozy built like a brick wall and control like one too. Any ball that comes to him bounces away like 10 feet. Why wouldn't you work hard on fixing that? You're formation relies on a lone striker but he That guy would be unstoppable if he could kill a ball in the air, turn and take a defender.

Bob Bradley isn't excelling in anything. Why is he still here. We need a foreign coach. No ties to US soccer and youth players so he has no obligation top them, can make tough decisions and do what best for the team. Fire him, get someone that isn't going to stand around a game like a goon while your team is getting embarrassed.

End rant. Back to work
