It used to be mostly chicken (some filler) , but now its all chicken. It can't be thinks like rats, pig parts, worms etc because everything else is more expensive.

The 2004 documentary Super Size Me states that the McDonald's Chicken McNuggets, originally made from old chickens no longer able to lay eggs, are now made from chickens with unusually large breasts. These chickens are stripped down to the bone, and then "ground up in to a chicken mash then combined with a variety of stabilizers and preservatives, pressed into familiar shapes, breaded and deep fried, freeze dried, and then shipped to a McDonald's near you."
Super Size Me also alleged that they included chemicals such as tertiary butylhydroquinone (a phenolic antioxidant), polydimethylsiloxane (an anti-foaming agent), and other ingredients not used by a typical home cook. As of 2007, these two ingredients were still listed as possible ingredients of the vegetable oil that is used to fry McNuggets. In a 2002 lawsuit against McDonald's, the judge claimed Chicken McNuggets are a "McFrankenstein" creation of various elements not used by the home cook.

Years ago before most of you guys where born I used to work on the Chicken Mc Nugget account in London ( TV Commercials ). I was told ( and you can believe this or not ) that all the meat from Mc Donald's is scarified ( every last morsel is removed from the bone with a laser ) That fries cannot be called French fries ( the French did not invent the Fry, it was the Belgium's ) because their content has very little to do with a potato and more to do with hydrolyzed starch ( http://www.freepatentsonline.com/5393552.html ) Oh and while we are on the subject the cheese is in fact manufactured with around 5 different chemical additives ( http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m.../ai_n21179277/ ) and those huge Vanilla milk shakes are thickened with methylcellulose ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methylcellulose ) Enjoy your Big Mac it may be your last !!!

Anyone who thinks chucken nuggets are mostly "chicken" is not only uninformed, but naive.
Chicken nuggets have been known to be over 50% "corn products" for many, many years. I learned this in the book Omnivores Dilemma. Chicken nuggets are mostly ground iup corn and then mechanical chicken meat from deformed chickens (abnormal breats and cant lay eggs) yes, they use chickens who cannot lay eggs and have deformities to grind up.
