I'd like to find a good quality reliable site thru which I can search for some 4-10 letter domain names. Would be especially helpful if I could filter out everything except ".com", and filter by price.

Anyone have any recommendations?

sedo.com is usally good or afternic.com

No particular niche. We started a second site recently and things are growing steadily so I'm thinking that eventually I'll want to start building some brand recognition. So I want to check out some relatively short domain names that will be decent for branding, like Twistys, PornPros, BangBros, etc.
