I totally get your VW analogy, but the difference with Macs is that the processor is totally integrated with the software, so once you dial it all in, it purrs like a Porche (and I'm not talking about the 914 with the Karmann Ghia V-dub engine - strictly Carrera)

i am sorry too, but only today people realize the real worth of the 914 series. i admit it has been judged as housewifes Porsche or even worse at that time, but today within the Porsche scene they are very highly appreciated. and expensive. and therefore i will not accept any negative association with any thread poster here

well, i am semi professional into classic cars - and following the scene since nearly 10 years now. must be good for something. i wish i had more money to invest, classic cars are a better investment than any stock, fond or real estate.
