g vs y: quality traffic ...
hello everyone. i want to ask if anyone of you see the difference between yahoo and google traffic? i see it at one of my sites, which have been about three months on the top page of google, but no good possitions in yahoo or msn ... from that possition, i made about 10 sales with ratio 1:2400 ... most of the traffic and i think all the sales were from google ... now, i wasnt so happy with that ratio, so i make the site bigger, by adding auto blog with rss feeds ... the site was made only to promote one sponsor ... now, after about a month from the change, i cannot see the site in google in first ten pages, but, i am at the first place in yahoo ... and, what the hell ... traffic went much down, but i am this month at ratio 1:54 with 8 sales already ... so, do you see the difference, yahoo is for rich people, google is for poor ones? maybe its only me, but for me its a message to move my seo sites from google to yahoo ... thanks for reading and for any reply if you have anything to add, wish you best with your sites!

Yahoo has a larger base of US users as its base traffic, which means higher percentage of credit card users, and buyers.
Its more quality traffic to sell too, but there is less of it. At least that is my take on it.

Also YHO users are generally older. Google you can do more volume but Yahoo will always be most profitable. |
