How much more does it help to have all handwritten posts on a blog rather than RSS or duplicate posts.

Why would any search engine give you results on content that they already have listed on multiple sites? If its already on several other sites or even one site, they would need a reason to list you over the other. With nothing but rss feeds or copy/pastes there isn't a whole lot of substance to show them its worth indexing your site and displaying it in results that would compete with other sites.

The goal they have is to index information and make it available for search. They will spider and list your pages, but not as likely or easily if they already have everything you're trying to give them. It offers no value to them or the surfers to do so.
