yeah they tried making a play against apple a couple years ago when these came out.

they failed, but continue to make them.

did you just learn of these devices?

Well, they are against a device with awful sound, that often locks up (just as all Apple products) and to use it you have to stuff your computer with bloatware. Even if they came with complete piece of shit, it would still be better than iPod

There is a Zune HD coming out soon. I wish they talked about it at E3 but they didn't.

Links up with your Xbox 360 so there is speculation you can grab your videos right from there, possibly netflix as well. Also, it might have games for the xbox live Arcade service but probably just basic ones as I didn't see any controls on the prototype.

Could be cool.

as long as Zune is backwards compatible with iPod interfaces and controls in my cars, then they have a chance with me
