Awesome cars yesterday and I've got pics

Yesterday was the monthly " Cars and Coffee " here in central Florida and even though it was hot as hell and threating to rain there was a pretty good turnout. Not very many exotics but a DBS and a SL65 Black in white showed up but somehow escaped my camera

Lots of red cars and lots of american muscle and a few oddballs here and there to make it interesting. I was more into getting the cars on the move instead of artsy car show pics because to me that is what it's all about. People that like to drive their cars.

dunno - i don't like the slant nose and the rims suck donkey balls - this car needs black Fuchs rims. otherwise the 930 Turbo is a legend on its own

Thanks

The event runs from 9:00 till noon and I can't get there much before 10:00. All the shots are candid and not setup although that would be much easier for me . I just wander once through the lot and then find me a few good places to catch them driving off.

The important part is to catch the car in such a way as to show off it's style and body contour without a distracting background like I did with the long sleek lines of the XKE.

What's interesting is I've posted a variety of cars and each one has been someone's favorite. That's what makes this event so much fun. You never know what might show up but there's bound to be something that makes you smile.

It's on my to do list

I've watched some of the videos on youtube and I would probably knock myself out trying to take pictures and video at the same time

One thing I like about the Irvine one is all the cars exit the same way. This one I go to all the cars leave in different directions so after talking to the organizer a bit they might try and do the same.

That's the one. It has a very nice sound to it. Hard to describe but it's got more of a rumble to it and sounds like a race car. If you had your back to it when it drove by you probably wouldn't be able to guess the car but you would know it's something badass.

Here's a shot of a 959 I found tucked under the stands at the Rennsport Event held at Daytona International Speedway a few years back. Rumor was that it was owned by Jerry Seinfeld.

My favorite of course is the Carrera GT
