Good, bad, how long you been with them? VISA or MC fee? Rolling reserve? Content limitations? Tangible, intangibles? Payout options? epass/wire/check or preferred ACH? ![]() |

You know that I started using them in the past few weeks as the main biller for my downloadable clips site at http://JimGunn.com. There is no Visa or MC fee, a 4.9% rate, no per transaction fee. I believe there is a two week delayed payment on accumulated funds if I recall correctly. I do not think that they do tangible goods however. Their wire transfer fee is $10, checks are $30. I made my minimal payment amount $300, so I am expecting my first payout soon.

I have been using them for a few weeks in one of my paysites. The biller works perfectly. The payout come at time. Everything look fine until now...
I am thinking to switch all my sites to Zombaio, but I am not sure yet... |

Well, I do not put all my eggs in one basket when it comes to processing. I learned that three or more times over in a decade of online business. However, I am looking at them as a replacement on cascade. Just wanted a bit more info.

Barefootsies, Been using them about 6 months now, 4.9% and NO reserve is like getting a 20% increase right off. The 2 week delay in payouts is not a hardship at all and the wires often show up a day or 2 early.
Support has been good when I needed it. |

Used them awhile ago, setup a paysite and had a few affiliates sending traffic. After a few days realized their affiliate system didn't give affiliates credit for any sales so they never got a payout. When it was time for them to make wire transfers to us, every time it was weeks late and took 3-5 phone calls each time to get it settled between them and our bank. At one point, we waited over a month PAST the date we were suppose to receive the payment. They just put blame on their headquarters in Sweden. At the time they also seemed to have a chip on their shoulder when taking criticism, like I was bothering them by telling them their affiliate script was not functional. After waiting months for them to fix it, they constantly told me their programming team was working on it. Fuck them, go with ccbill, epoch, or your own merchant account for paysites.

Wow. With established names like Epoch and CCbill I do not understand why people risk it with people that don't know or support the adult community.

From the post a few above, doesn't sounds like program is going to well.
I thought about using them, or adding to cascade for new sites. But I dunno now. |

I am going to try them out. We currently don't have an affiliate program on one of the paysites I run and didn't want to use ccbill because of 10% fee increase (we currently use Netbilling and a mainstream processor). I don't add much credence to anything that InsaneMidget says... I am sure he will attack me for saying that... but in my experience with him he has a problem handling simple shit... so I have my doubts as to why the affiliate thing didn't work for him.

Using your own merchant account, or an IPSP with lower rates or a more reasonable scrub can make as much as 50% of difference in your revenues in my experience. I think at this stage of the game in the adult industry it's necessary to squeeze out every percent.

Thanks for the comments. My employee tinkered with Wordpress based on my ideas to use it as a CMS and we designed the whole downloadable clips site ourselves. I don't think that I would ever use static html for a site design again. I am pretty happy with it. I may have sites that are open to affiliates for promotion someday, but for now I am just working on getting more traffic to my own little network of sites.

A 4.9% rate and no Visa/MC startup fees are a big attraction. If your sites are not pay sites with recurring billing and there are no affiliates to worry about for example, then the risk of loss is minimal even if they went out out of business overnight.

You probably didn't want to use ccbill because you can't afford the visa fee. You and Zombaio deserve each other. Have fun. |

I mentioned in a thread on another board that Arylia was better than a script he created. Actually it flat out kills his and it started a nice little feud between us. Ignore him. Apparently now it's my fault Zombaio couldn't send wires on time as well. My experience with Zombaio are simply what they are, use at your own risk. I used them over a year ago and maybe they worked everything out. Good luck. I have 14 paysites with CcBill, never been happier. |

So far so good. Time will tell.
Observations so far.... 1. Kick ass administration compared to Verotel and CCB. 2. Video tutorials for installation and such. 3. Ease of installation, and approval. 4. Weekend support non-existant after 7P Sat until Monday. 5. Wrong number when you call the number in admin panel (referenced number correct). ![]() 6. Less grief with payment gateway instl. CCB and Verotel act like their API are launch codes. More to follow... |

Yep.
I think konrad completed the installation Sunday night or Monday morning. Since then, on little promotion, I have already had some sign ups. I have not had any complaints. However, I am also thinking of adding in second processor just to spread the risk. |

Try Segpay for a second processor. I use both them and Zombaio and have had no complaints.

Using them for 3 month. Payouts in time.
Have no complains at all. What they need to workout that affiliate script. It's very basic. And in wish list B2B transfers to epassporte accounts. |

The affiliate program I work for started using zombaio a few weeks ago. So far our joins appear to be down by about 60%.
We have multiple reports from members that they joined and were billed, but we do not see credit for the joins. No response from the affiliate program so far on this issue. Maybe everything looks fine form their end, but from my end its a deal-breaker. |

For me, I can see when someone signs up. I can also see how many members I have at all times. So for me, things match up. I guess I am just anal that way where I see a sale, and then check members number. I do it to track recurring, as well as 1 timers. Sorry to hear you are having issues chief. It has been marvelous for me on new site so far. No complaints. |
