One of the Most Under Rated Bands of our Time

These guys are like bookmarks in my childhood
I had this huge Mural of Candy O cover on my wall

They were way ahead of their time and never really fit into the MTV Video scene
like so man others bands at that time. Candy O is still one of my top 5 favorite Albums ever made.

They were popular during that time. Really didn't have the front man for the MTV scene
even though he scored one of the first true supermodels

I listened to them a lot back then and still have a few songs on the Ipod. My personal
favorite is " Bye Bye love ".

It's funny how music does bookmark your life and the Cars certainly bring back fond memories of when I let the good times roll

First 2 records were great. Elliot Easton is one of the under rated guitarist of rock. Ric Ocasek went on to be a producer notably with Weezer's Blue Record and The Bad Brians, Bad Religon, Guided By Voices, The Killers and a bunch of other stuff that i can't remember.

How are they under rated? They were pretty much on top of their game in the 1980s, weren't they?
