When I first starting looking at the porn biz I came accross a few of them. Dont know if they are still online or how they make money from it unless they are sending people to a freesite which links to paysites but just how many would actually sign up for a membership is another thing. The only other way I guess is they are selling "ad space" to paysites, similar to an ad network and have the people who are browsing to get paid clicking on them
