SEO question ....

What is the threshold for buying a site/domain on the basis of page rank alone?

Assume the site is already in the niche you want, and gets 50-100 visitors a day.

I don't fully understand the question either.

You mean how much is It ok to pay to get a higher PR domain with those values already?

Without knowing factors like price, SERPs, the sites you hope to push with it and a million other variables nobody can answer your question intelligently.

If you meant to ask "What is the lowest PR site you would consider buying?"

The 'threshold' answer is zero.

Ok, so basically buying a PR4, PR5 rank site isn't worth much?

Or do you examine each name/site on a case by case basis?

Lots of combination you need to look for. Dont rely on PR alone.

And think of it as real estate. it's only worth what you are willing to pay.

Buying a PR4 site is like saying "buying a Cadillac"

A Cadillac can be a good car but it is not a complete statement of value. Do you mean:

A New Cadillac
An Old Cadillac
A Broken Cadillac
A Perfect Condition Classic Cadillac From The 1950s
A Rusted Cadillac With No Engine Or Tires
Etc....

The word "Cadillac" by itself is not enough information, just as PR4 is not enough information.
