New to photography.. here's some pics of Panama's new Cinta Costera - GoFuckYourself.com

I just bought a Canon EOS Xti and spent a good chunk of Sunday walking around the new Cinta Costera here in Panama. Cinta Costera was a pretty huge project; they reclaimed part of the bay and built new traffic lanes and some park/community area. They also redid all the sewer collection systems, etc, which should go into play in the next couple years.

Anyway, here's some pics. It was hot as hell out that day, and the air was a little hazy. I didn't get out until right around noon so the sun kind of sucked

Here's what it looked like when they first started building it (crappy phone pics through dirty coated glass in my office).

When they first started filling it in:

The area from the traffic out was all bay.

and just before it opened from the same viewpoint:

BTW - in the second thumbnail, the blue glass building in the extreme upper left is my office, where the first three pics were taken - just to give some scope of this project.

I'm still trying to figure out what menus are available in what modes, etc.. it's confusing.

So far, I'm flipping back and forth between full auto and settings like "Landscape" and "Portrait"
