Considering Small Pox is more or less extinct, i'd have to say real science. The problem is the flu virus mutates strains so quickly... by the time they have a vaccination for a particular strain, it's moved on to the next, like firing at a moving target.

I have been getting them for about 10 years and we pay for our staff to have them too. Never get flu at all now even though we come into contact with lots of others that do. Best £15 per head a year I think I spend as it cuts down sick days to a minimum.

There was a test of the swine flu vaccine in Europe on 250 homeless people roughly 10% of them died.

I haven't had one in years and I never get sick. My wife insists on giving them to the kids. It's not worth it for me to fight with her about it. If I thought it did any harm of course I would contest it.

I've never gotten one and haven't had the flu since I was 18 years old. I'm 31 now.

Depends on where you are I think, as some governments and agencies have more influence on what is and isn't in their country's vaccines.

The thing is that people have a short memory and don't remember small pox and the other diseases and the terrible suffering they can cause... not to mention the thousands of deaths.

It's so easy to dismiss vaccinations because it's so easy to take them for granted today, it's been so long since we've had to think about those problems.

The problem lies in what has been added to the vaccinations which we might not really need. Little additives that don't hurt us, might or might not help us.... and jack up the costs and make people more money.
