Watching this tv kinda reminds me of looking thru a viewmaster when I was a kid.

Awesome TV but I don't see how that could be like looking at a viewmaster

I did... thats why it reminds me of looking thru a viewmaster

But even DirecTV at 1080i looks amazing. Looks quite a bit better than the Plasma tv in my bedroom.

I didnt think it was very light, but mine has this heavy base plate on it because its sitting on a tv stand. Thats removeable if you want to wall mount it. But even with the base plate, its noticeably lighter than my plasma tv is without a base plate.

sweet looking tv! Wish projection tvs would go to LED. I've had a projector tv for 4 years now and love them but hate having to replace lamps every 3,000 hours and the heat they put off is unreal

My uncle was just talking about how LED lighting is replacing the normal track lighting in kitchens and places cause they use a tenth of the energy and last like 60,000 hours.. He own a architect firm

Go spend some time watching one, you'll see what I mean. It kinda like its not really on tv. Its weird, in a good way.

Your experiencing "soap opera effect" (google it) there should be an option to turn it off so the blu ray movies look more like your watching them at a movie theatre instead of looking like a behind the scenes version of the movie

It's actually a LCD TV with LED backlight. OLED TV's are still only 13 inch.

They offer 1080p movies now also. It's pretty sick

Awesome TV too!

Wait till they come out with the organic LED's!! You will be able to roll them up like a sheet of paper and store them behind your couch if you want. A few mm's thick.

I saw the demo of the new LED's in a store about 2 weeks ago. Incredible picture and razor thin. Quite a hefty charge compared to an LCD though, not sure if its worth the extra premium quite yet but its definitely nice.
