I went to one of those sites which sends you the unlock code and they weren't able to generate one for the AT & T 8525 so they recommended I go to a local shop which can unlock it via a cable.

Does anyone know one of these shops anywhere in LA?

Leslie call ATT and they will send you the code. Tell them you are traveling abroad and so on.... If you ask them (maybe a few times) they will send it
