Vick's dogs have been rehabilitated!

Dogs who had been traind to fight and kill, are finding a new life. This is for those who say these dogs should have been executed. The pit bulls will be going to families and never forced to fight again.

Believe in miracles and good deeds? With Michael Vick getting a second chance, we thought we'd check in and see how his Bad Newz Kennel pitbulls are doing.

Time to read about the good news. Best Friends trainer John Garcia, who was on Larry King Tuesday night with one of the dogs, Georgia, talked about their rehab with us before going on the TV show. "They're great dogs. We're setting them up for success,'' he says.

Best Friends, the largest no kill animal sanctuary in the USA, took 22 of the pit bulls in January 2008 when other groups called for their destruction and said they could not be rehabilitated. Garcia says all but two of the pit bulls will be sent to families eventually. Halle recently was adopted and Handsome Dan just went to a foster home. Only Georgia and Lucas will stay at Best Friends for the rest of their lives -- and that's due to court orders, Garcia says, more than anything else because they were prize fighters.

when those dogs get release in to a community, and are left alone for hours during the daytime, or arent kept in cages - they WILL end up biting someone again. It's a matter of time.

But when it happens some time in the future, YOU wont ba back here and say "sorry I was wrong, pittbulls are evil"

Those people "save" those dogs, not for the sake of the dog, but to feel good about themselfs.

The dog would have been better of being put to sleep in a peasefull way, instead of this PR bullshit

btw im sure the people who have rehabilitated these dogs wont be giving them out to families with 5 children in the household. i wouldn't expect any problems with these animals.

Simply put, no I'm not - the stats support my claim. That is the reason more and more countries outlaw those kind of dogs.
