I had to stay over night in the hospital a few years ago for monitoring.. it cost me $5,000 for one night

My mother went to Cuba for an operation years ago. It wasn't covered by her medical, and it was one fourth of the price as it would cost her in the US. The hospital was more like a resort for recovery. She had a blast.
