Sounds to me like he is merely a stand-in and not the actual actor.

good god, did I typo the fuck out of his name in the title of this thread...

Darkland, I hope so, but actually, as far as I know, they haven't even begun production on a Friday the 13th sequel...I've been checking the movie geek websites and most just cite that article...maybe a pipedream of an MMA writer

yeah its a rumor, they arent even filming Part 2 yet they are all still working on the Elm Street remake due out early 2010
