Apparently another "terrorist" leader has been killed
...by a special operations unit operating in Somalia. Tracking them and taking them down slowly but surely. Killing is their business and business is good...and will continue as they have a target rich environment.
 By the way it is being reported that the President signed off on the execution of the operation to take this guy out.

From what I'm reading (BBC), they were French soldiers, not US, although the French are denying it.
So, with such little information out there atm, where on earth does a credible source find out that the US President signed off on such operation? Link?

The attack in Mombasa took place on Nov 28, 2002 and involved a suicide bomber that blew up the lobby of the Israeli-owned Paraise hotel. On the same day, the attackers unsuccessfully attempted to shoot down an Israeli-owned Boeing 757 civilian jetliner run by Arkia. They fired surface-to-air missiles but missed. Nabhan's group Somali, Al- Shabaab, has links to Al Qaeda.

Of course this will make the headlines not the 30 civilians killed in Afghanistan over the weekend.

Do you really expect it to make any difference?
Just like crack dealers, there will be another to take his place. I got no problem with taking them out but just don't kid yourself that it is going to change anything.
