His real last name was Schicklegruber or something along those lines.

Adolph Hitler's last name was always Hitler. His father was illegitimate and used his mother's name, Schicklgruber, until he was 39 (13 years before Adolph Hitler was born) changing it to Hiedler which eventually became Hitler (The name was spelled Hiedler, Huetler, Huettler and Hitler, and was probably regularized to Hitler by a clerk).

but imagine it would have been "Schicklgruber" - "Heil Schicklgruber!" would probably not have worked that well as "Heil Hitler!" did

the death tally is actually one of the only things thats actually not a CONSPIRACY.
