I gotta say, I'm a PC guy all the way, but there are somethings that Macs can do as good or better. A lot of it is just a matter of preference. Me, I like to have more control over what my system does (which is why I still have XP instead of Vista). But that's not a knock on Mac users.

I have a desktop tower i built 2 years ago, high end parts.. I have shut it down only once and that was cuz i moved to panama..

It DOESNT CRASh.. it hasnt crashed this year.. i run 4gb of ram on it...

I just reboot it once every 3-4 months.. jesus a well built pc is as good as a mac.. macs use regular components like ram, hard disk, etc..

its not like they are using special parts from god.. its the same shit in a nice interface

I used a mac recently and one thing that annoyed me was that I clicked stuff, the cursor was directly pointed on what I was clicking, and it didn't register the click. It was almost like the cursor had it's point in the middle of the cursor, rather than at the tip.

Other than that I figured out how to do everything I wanted to do really easily, with really no extra effort. Every time I figured something out it seemed easy and logical. Even setting it up to use an external NTFS HD I brought was simple enough. Had no idea I would be able to read it and not write to it without a driver. Seemed strange that wasn't part of the OS though.

If you know how to build a PC, you could build a stable windows pc for a shit load less, and its more customizable too... I have shut it down only once and that was cuz i moved to panama.. It DOESNT CRASh.. it hasnt crashed this year.. i run 4gb of ram on it... I just reboot it once every 3-4 months.. jesus a well built pc is as good as a mac.. macs use regular components like ram, hard disk, etc.. its not like they are using special parts from god.. its the same shit in a nice interface __________________ _________________ I am the best

Socks Confirmed User Industry Role: Join Date: May 2002 Location: Toronto Posts: 8,478	I used a mac recently and one thing that annoyed me was that I clicked stuff, the cursor was directly pointed on what I was clicking, and it didn't register the click. It was almost like the cursor had it's point in the middle of the cursor, rather than at the tip. Other than that I figured out how to do everything I wanted to do really easily, with really no extra effort. Every time I figured something out it seemed easy and logical. Even setting it up to use an external NTFS HD I brought was simple enough. Had no idea I would be able to read it and not write to it without a driver. Seemed strange that wasn't part of the OS though.
