ya but find it a little douchy - as i have sales text that says "check out site a for x" and it mobile redirects to a different named site with different features. at least give an option so you can allow that to happen or not.

Why not just send your mobile traffic to a site specifically designed to work on all mobile devices without cross-sales? You get the ability to track your stats accurately and you control where your traffic goes at all times.

That's usually where a whitelabel and subdomain come in. Keeps with your URL, brand, theme, etc. Doesn't look like they are getting re-directed to someplace completely different, just to a mobile friendly site.

iPhone traffic amounts to 13% of the total mobile traffic floating around on a day to day basis. If you send ALL of your mobile traffic to a specific sponsor that can only accommodate or display correctly on iPhones, then where does the rest of your mobile traffic go given that the sponsor's mobile sites may not display correctly on other phone types?

We work with our WMs on a 1:1 basis if they prefer an increased payout.

If you want to make money with mobile, you'd switch to revshare. When trial to convert is 67% and retention through the roof, it's silly not to do revshare.

However, we pay less PPS because we also charge the surfer less money. Maybe why the conversions, trial to converts and retention is sooooo good.

MOST mobile programs offer their sites for more than just the iPhone. I know we have our sites compatible with all popular devices. When new devices come out, or just different models of phones (ie: Blackberry Storm v. Blackberry Curve) things change and you have to make sure your sites work with all of them... can be a challenge.

With the Symbien and WAP traffic, best place to send that to is SexGoesMobile.com

Would anyone post an overall conversion ratio? For how much would I convert a 1k of mobile surfers?

Say, I have them coming to my tgp. If I make a special page for them and redirect them to that page and put some ads/promos - what can I expect from that 1k of mobile surfers? Is it worth it at all?

With regards to sexgoesmobile, why would anyone send mobile traffic to a site if there is no way to check on their mobile hits, and therefore no way to check ctr as its all blind within their program. Christian from sexgoesmobile has even admitted himself that "It is correct that we don't show any hits, impressions, uniques etc"

in general i run like 1-300-500, some sites are lemons and do quite worse. topbucks is doing ok at 1:386 this period for example. this is search traffic though, no idea on how tgps will do ratio wise...

This would depend on the kind of mobile traffic you are receiving, as the best converting is US mobile traffic. Typically we convert anywhere from 1 in 27 to 1 in 75 on a good day up to 1 in 200 for a bad day which is probably what the other mobile programs are seeing too. Sign up with a myriad of mobile sponsors, add their mobile banners / links and see which ones make you the most. Good luck

You won't get any conversions on the WAP/Symbien traffic anyways, might as well send it off to where you might get some joins. Check your Google Analytics for the Symbien traffic and you'll have an idea of how much you send them daily.

As for that thread, we work on more than the iPhone, we've tested it on shitloads of other devices, our members are surveyed ALL the time and believe me they are the FIRST to tell us when the site doesn't work on their mobile device. : )

LOl I wouldnt worry about that ready mobi site lol... worry more about if a site makes you more money/joins not if they look pretty in some site using phones you prolly wont even see much traffic/joins from... I have done tests with sites that got the best grade on there and ones that failed, guess which had more joins.... I'm sure that site would have been great a couple years ago.

I'm saying TopBucks or other programs not optimized to take Symbien traffic won't covert it. Since SexGoesMobile specializes in Symbien/WAP, they CAN convert it.

For a site to make money it needs to display properly and you are wrong about phones other than iPhones probably not making money. I will post a few stats just for you as you may have missed it.

I did not say only iphones... We have many non-iPhone members, on a variety of different phones who have been members for some time now and can view our site/vids properly. I was referring to the phones in that emulator.

And that screenshot is of your site's traffic, a wap site. For a certain time period which we do not know. Other people can view their own stats and go based on them. As mentioned before, people need to test and see what mobile site they make more $$$ from at the end of the day.
