Who cares GFY has a new skin, we are a community fucking right?

Now that i have your attention with that little bit offensive thread title, please read my whole story and view, and dont get things twisted.

Really, i mean no harm in what im going to write now. Please dont be offended.
Ive seen some good friends leave the last days, and some good biz people getting banned for well.. we all know why.

Its sad to see you all go, but my guess is you will all be back soon (and dont make me invite you to my own little crib lol ) so we can have fun and do biz here once again.

There are some questions i have kept to myself for some days though. Again, do NOT be offended, and if i talk confusing please keep in mind im not an english speaker by heart.

1] Why is it that i have been watching tubes putting up illegal sponsor videos, and stolen content for so many years now, without them being "left behind" for dead but now that we have this bullshit skin (and yeah, im against it more then anyone else.. see my latest project where im trying to bite a chunk out of the illegal tubes!) everybody is pissing on GFY.

How come i see the same people buying banners from sites holding and promoting stolen content and full length videos? Some of them are crying the hardest (NOT ALL!) about GFY promoting illegal tubes. Sure it fucking sucks they are doing it, i think i should be one of the biz people here hurt the most by it, and fuck me im not leaving.

Leaving GFY isnt a way to show we are against this, it means you will have no vote at all anymore.

Why where some of the same people and companies buying, and thus sponsoring, adspace on these same sites for years? Why didnt anyone sue the fuck out of them a long time ago? Wouldnt it be a better solution to turn your backs on THOSE that hurt you? Dont buy their traffic or adspace would be a good start. No matter what promotion they will get on GFY, if im correct we are webmasters and company owners here right? Or did this really turn into the largest surfers-pretendingtobeadultcompanies-board?

Dont click the fucking banners, dont buy their adspace, dont support them. Why do i see these sites being reviewed on directories and tubelists? Did we go complaining at all those sites, that i see carry the same adspots going to these sites day in day out for months and months?

What is the difference now that gfy is doing it.

We could as well turn this into a good thing, ice and eric take a shitload of their money, and we ALL decide not to click on it, not to buy from them, not to promote them. Let them waste their money, at least they are doing it at a place i like and love to do biz on.

Dont you all leave, you still have a choice. And since we are all closing one eye for a LOT of other sites and services, why walk away from GFY now?

I see so many people buying from / or promoting broker traffic in here right. The same brokers that put your banners on free sites with any content they can get. I dont see anyone complaining about that either.

Dont, please DONT get me wrong. I think it ALL sucks major ass. The promotion of illegal tubes on GFY, the brokers sending traffic and buying adspots for clicks on every site they can get their hands on without screening THEIR content. Etc. etc etc. It all sucking fucks. I was pissed out of my mind for 3 days in a row. Again, if someone should be pissed it should be me. Im sticking my neck out building a legal tube to support the sponsors and webmasters without even asking them for 1 cent, then GFY turned the skin into something we are trying to fight.


But im NOT ready to leave, let GFY take the money, its STILL THE COMMUNITY THATS DECIDING TO BUY THEIR TRAFFIC AND ADSPOTS!

2] Another thing is, but i have to be carefull here because im a bit to blame too, is why do i see so many people bitching about the illegal tubes NOW. But when i started to setup my service to get more promotion and free traffic to everyones sponsor videos i saw so many people laugh in my face. Dont get me wrong, im coping better then ever and it still is the best decision i ever made, even biz wise i have never been making more money then the day we launched oneclicktube.com. But why not support someone that is sticking his neck out to fight and bite at the illegal tubes a bit more? For free, might i add. I ask for nothing in return, and can give anyone a sponsor account that needs one. All you have to do is upload your choice of legal review clips without any limitations, and you get full videopages with at least 6 banners going RIGHT back to your program back..

Im glad that after 2 months only the trolls where still laughing about the idea, and more and more people realised this is an opp that is without risk and can only gain them. Hell, im even giving webmasters that embed YOUR videos and that is costing US money a 50% share of the hoverad on their embedded videos.

7months have gone by, and with the help of some big companies that had the trust in us from the beginning we are still around and still making money. And we arent only making money for ourselfs, we are making sponsors and webmasters money. I guess the laughing is over now. Its sad to see some people that are bitching and crying the hardest now, laughed at me 7 months ago, and are now trying to figure out how to reach me again.

So, now that everybody is bitching about this, i guess i dont have to persuade more and more companies and reps to upload their videos right?

Ps. i know im to blame too for not adding sponsor accounts fast enough the last 2 months, but check back the forums, im doing all i can seeing what health problems i have had the last months. So my bad, and i will be hiring 2 more people soon just to get those accounts ready.

GFY isnt the source, why not ignore and block anything from those illegal tubes.

Never bought ad spots, traffic, reviewed them, done tube lists, traded traffic, etc. with tube sites. Have only given a couple legal tubes some promo content as a test - that is it period.
Then as a past FYI when GFY was skinned by Guba was the same time I pulled my advertising from here and have not bought another one since.

The problem with illegal tubes is that you can't really attack them directly without spending huge amounts of time and money, thanks to the DMCA. People are frustrated and pissed off.

The hard part about running an illegal tube is paying for it. Monetizing the traffic.

When places like GFY support the monetization of sites that are stealing from GFY members, people who are already pissed off go off the deep end, and they should.

Like i said, im trying to generalise EVERYbody. Because for people like you and some of the others (even those that walked away because of being sick of this all) i have more respect then i will ever have for those that are crying like babies now and in the meantime are buying their traffic from sites that have the same illegal content. But thats what i was trying to get at. GFY is monetizing those sites? I disagree. They took, probably, a SHITLOAD of money for the skin from trafficjunky. All WE have to do, is ignore them.

As long as this is a webmaster and adult companies biz board, i dont see no harm. But maybe im just to naiv to see all the surfers around here. Maybe its just that.

What i think we can do better now is stay calm, ignore the fucking skin, dont do biz with trafficjunky for the next 2 years. Lets SEE how well that skin turned out for them..

Im not blaming them, i respect everyones decision based on what happend. I just think its sad to see the good people leave now. And the dumbasses who are doing the same shit every day for years now cry the hardest. Those people are in no way better then what GFY is doing now, and again let me be clear, that I am one of those guys that is hurt the MOST by this skin. Again: The past 7 months i have been succesfully sticking my neck out for adult companies without asking a cent in return, i offer a service and place where they can promote their legal clips and preview videos, i even offer webmasters a chance to earn money promoting these legal clips instead of using illegal tube embeds to persuade them to use these companies legal videos.

So yeah, i almost crushed my keyboard when i saw this happening. But im not ready to walk away.

Community is sort of a funny thing.
They often start out great, wonderful neighbors, people help their neighbors, lots of pride of ownership. More and more people move in and things change a little by little, perhaps to much growth to fast, perhaps poor management. Other elements roll in and you end up with some petty theft going on and it seems the community watch is up in arms but the laws and the courts of the land just do not seem to give a shit about neighbor stealing from neighbor. Your still ok, you just lock your doors and check people out more than before. More and more slide, more junkies and street punks are hanging out everywhere harassing everyone for shits and giggles. Then one day you wake up and see that the mayor himself has not only taken bribes from the bad guys but actually allowed them to rename main street to their name.
Then who would wonder if people moved away.
