PbP live with NATS4

Quick heads up to let you know that we are now live with NATS4. If you use NATS, almost everything has been already done for you by NATS software developers to enable you to use us and start squeezing every last cent from you international traffic.

The only thing we need to complete your setup is the location of a script installed on your server. This script is called returnurl_pbp.php and it is usually located in:

http://join.yoururl.com/signup/returnurl_pbp.php

But this location may vary depending on your setup. So we need you to confirm this location for every site you want to implement our billing solution on.

Once you give us this URL, we will prepare a package and layout name for you. This is the only thing you will need to configure PBP in your NATS. To aid you , here a simple step by step guide which shows you what you need to configure on your end once we give you your package and layout IDs:

If you have not done so already, register at PbP and get an account here: http://www.password-by-phone.com/signup.php

You will then need to provide us with the return URL so we can set up a package id for you.

Setting up PbP in NATS an the Billers Admin : Your Affiliate ID is the login name to your PbP member area. This is created when you signed up for an account
at PbP and looks something like 'pbp-xxxxx'. It will also be used to view your PasswordByPhone stats remotely.

Password is the login password, also created when you signed up.
In the Sites admin:
Under Biller Details:
Layout refers to our supplied layouts or user specific layouts. The layouts determine the look of the PbP payment and confirmation pages displayed to the User during the billing process.

Package ID adresses a dedicated PasswordByPhone gate, configured to behave following your specifications. This will be given to you by us after we have built it from your return URL and specifications.

Special Payment Options : Select PasswordByPhone from the dropdown.
Join Form Text is whatever you would like to appear as text on the button which would take your surfers to the passwordByPhone join form.
Biller Code is not needed for Password by Phone and should be left blank.

To increase click-thrus/sales, remember to use our GeoTargeted Banners (45 languages including Thai, Malay, Hindi, Arabic, Chinese etc.) Set these up using http://www.password-by-phone.com/gtib_generator.php but add &nats=### to the javascript call where ### is the NATS code. We will then pass the NATS code back to your NATS system so the correct affiliate will get credit. NATS codes can be found at the end of link codes. To add the natscode by variable use {$nats_code} on your join
template or <?=$_REQUEST['nats']?> on any other page.

When checking your stats, please note that the PID is also the Member ID in NATS. This will help you reference transactions. (Hint: Since you can not easily search for member id, try this trick. Go to the NATS Members admin and click on any member's magnifying glass. At the end of the URL, the number is the member id. Just replace it with that of the one your searching for, click go, and it will bring you up that members info.)

Remember, we now offer PER MINUTE (PPM) billing with no idle time : surfers are granted instant access to your content for the time that they are connected to a premium-rate number. Whilst this is nothing new, we offer the best rates for most countries.

For example, for an eight minute connection from a UK surfer, the current PPM market leader currently pays $7.04 based on published rates. We pay $10.20 - the surfer pays the same, irrespective of which processor you work with.
