free lifetime sites that allow people to join the same site 5 times

why dont you guys watch what you are billing?

if you are letting any join come in and not watching...then the joke is on you...and it is not the fault of your webmasters.

some places have it done properly and dont allow the same people to join multiple sites

others are too lazy or greedy to watch what joins they allow...then they cry about it after

watch your business...in the end..its all on you...not your affiliates

Fair enough but if the assertion is that if allowing ppl to sign up more then one free acc somehow diminishes the ability to convert that person into a sale just sounds counterintuitive to me ... maybe it's the business we're in, but we see all the time people wanting different persons's on our community site, their desire to change username etc ... we only allow three concurrent acc's per email to allow the person to change their mind about their identity etc. And speaking generally, we've found surfers far happier with the flexibility of the policy and if I can make 'em happy with the service I know we have +% greater chance to convert them.

Typing this it occurs to me the concern might be around 'how do i get credit for the 2nd & 3rd account's ... we'll that's why we put in a 365 affiliate cookie to make sure that issues addressed

... or still maybe i'm missing the whole issue, which is why i asked

haha yeah...until they try to say it is fraud

they need to recognize that billing the same person for the same site...and jsut changing the front door is not going to work

develop huge different backends...and then you can start banging away...as each members area will have something unique to offer....and thus to stay around for

i heard ya loud and clear...i just wanted to spell it out for the crowd

that some programs seem to be pointing fingers at webmasters right now

meanwhile they are the ones banging the same card to 5 of their front ends for shitty content when they get inside

one place i know of is apparently huge they tell me over and over...but when i looked inside i saw max 20 content sets..lol

rip off

Most big programs do this. I assume its to give members 'more bang for their buck' but if the members don't realize the site they are joining is part of a network they already belong to, its chargeback city.
