need javascript help

anybody good troubleshooting Javascript? i have a menu bar that uses PNG's, and mouseovers, i've tried half a dozen mouseover scripts and none work in IE6. i am sure it has something to do with javascript i am using to make PNG's transparent in IE6. but hell if i know how to fix it.

paying huge money! well not huge, but paying.

its been done;) with transparent gif, since the rollover image is not using opacity. it could have been fixed with rollover png too, but PNG24 is good when transparent opacity is involved.

IE6 is not supported.

Also, people using IE6 are not even worth serving a page too.

thanks to holograph from SilverCrocodile, i did try to use transparent GIFs but I had used the wrong technique to save them and they looked shitty to me, once i saw the one holograph's guy made I realized the GIF's done that way didn't look much worse than a PNG.

There is a bug caused by a lot of IE6 PNG fixes that cause the css/mouse function to not work correctly. This happens if you're using a IE6 PNG fix, and a PNG set through CSS as a background image.
