Verizon Wireless customers

ok, so I'm getting switched to Verizon in less than week as the Alltel = Verizon deal happens. I have a unlimited data plan with unlimited text etc right now but our phones are way outdated. I hear Verizon does not have an unlimited text package? Is this true?

What's the best package out there for people that need internet / text on their Verizon phones? I'm looking pry grabbing a BB tour and the wife a new BB Storm 2 as it will be out soon.

Unlimited text is $10 a month.

If you get a BlackBerry like I have you will be forced to get a phone plan and pay for seperate BB service. 450 minutes phone is like $45, unlimited net bb is like $35 if I recall.

I can't remember all the options I have, and how much they cost, but switching to Verizon from Cingular was the best thing I ever did. I've never been able to complain about Verizon once. They're awesome.

Hmm yeah looks like there is some 1400 min national plan with unlimited sms etc. Looks like we will be spending another 30-40 a month for the same service we had with alltel. Too bad I couldn't buy the phones now and keep my alltel contract. All these alltel phones they are dumping for free suck.

I THINK you get unlimited to other Verizon customers with any text plan which would be $5 but you could get unlimited to anyone for $10

Per the website unlimited text is $20 for a single line plan and $30 for a family plan. That's the difference between the "basic" and the "select" plans. The blackberry package adds $30 per phone.

verizon is nice. it'll be interesting how the storm 2 bombs.. .oops... sells poor... oops... sells... hate the storm and the interface but bringing android phones might make their phones sell more than their service which is one the of the best i'll admit. They just need to make phones that are current vs old

I pay $99 a month for my phone (also have a blackberry on another line that costs about the same) and have 900 minutes, 5 people I can talk to for free (like fav5), unlimited text, unlimited data, unlimited gps and a few other things on Verizon. They do have unlimited text -- either as part of a premium package or separately. Pay close attention to the two different types of plans they have -- one is kind of like a pick what you want and pay for it separately, or you can save more by getting the premium plan ... but it also includes a bunch of unlimited features.

Verzion LG Dare love the phone. I also have sprint.

Verizon unlimited plan is 99, that just for calls not text, text is another 20 I believe or you can pay 149 for unlimited everything

Sprint is just 99 dollars for every dam thang phone and data
If you in the hood 50 bucks no tax boost mobile text, calls and web $$ 50.00 bucks
boost mobile is on by sprint

It all depends on the area. Around DC, where I am, you're not going to get anything better than Verizon. Hell, you could probably be 120 feet under ground in a bunker and still get amazing reception.

Meanwhile, with Sprint, you can stand in the middle of the busiest street in DC and not have a signal.

A lot of people here hate T-Mobile and complain of dropped calls but I never had any problems when I was with them.

unlimited text is $14.99 a month i think.

i have a blackberry storm with 900 min unlimited nights weekends internet and unlimited texting i think my bill is like $130 a month after taxes.

Verizon has a nice nationwide network but they are 20-30% more then other options here in chicago.

Unless you want a phone you cant get someone else or travel alot Verizon is overpriced.

Only provider that works on the metro at the moment as well! D.M.V. ftw
