Blue ray dvd writers - your opinion?
I am upgrading my stuff and noticed now there are Blue ray writes available at reasonable cost (less than $250), they write 25GB on a BD and 50GB on a BD double layer..
Looking at pioneer.. anyone have experience with this? BTW, looks like Blue ray IS the only real HD standard in porn and mainstream, congrat to sony.

It works, but it is a bit like the first DVD writers, some fails.
Good idea to use RW disks, has saved me a lot of money. Takes a very long time to make the files, make the disk images and burn the blu rays. BUT the results are worth it. It is the first time professional quality is possible on home PC...... Best of luck |

i am wondering if i should wait until they perfect the technology..
remember the problems i had with writing to dvd when it first came out.
