i think so, because Computer Games for Blinds also using same similar logic and it works pretty fine,

i know driving a car in real life contains various factors unlike computer games but You also follow the same things with Your sight.

i mean what You let You drive is not just because You have sighting, You combine/put together lots of things including Your logic and deciding mechanism

Cool experiment, but I hope it never manifests itself as a car technology in the future.

It's already bad enough on the road with people that can see. The last thing we need is to add blind motherfuckers into the mix.

When you're blind, there's certain things you have to accept -- like you'll never drive a car on a public road.

What You say is pretty wrong, You're from western community but, You're sounding like coming from afew centuries ago.

i m a born blind for myself, but, i drove car, motorcycle and bike many times even at the public road,

My father was sitting next to me and i was driving cars without a problem, for motorcycle and Bike i never needed anybody beside me since nothing covers my environment,

if i could do this without this technology, it's even more likely doable with such technological support.

i wish we can see blind drivers in public roads pretty soon,

if an accident happens the reason won't be His/Her Blindness, it will be something else like any other accident.

each year bunch of accidents are happening and most likely none of those drivers are blind.

Lastly i should say i never take Your post offensive, it only sounded a bit prejudice and i m just trying to be helpful to change it with reality, GOD Bless Einstein

btw. those things were when i was a kid and i drove until maybe 16 years old something,

when i became 18 i moved an other city myself and since 6 years i m here and doing that no more, but i still can do it, just wanted to add it as a side note to express this correctly

But have you ever been able to see? As a blind person, I think you may be extremely naive about what driving in busy traffic (at high speeds) entails. I realize that people without sight can overdevelop other senses to compensate, so there are many things they can actually do better than sighted people.

Driving a car is not one of them. You're wrong.

Man i live in the 5. biggest city World Wide (İstanbul) with more then 18 million population, and i know what's busy traffic and ask somebody who has been in Tr then You will learn how some of our drivers can gone crazy.

as i said above while You are driving You are not just using Your side, You also use Your deciding mechanism, this technology is able to tell You how far the obstacles are, maybe what is the amount of time You can reach/crash, You should watch this video and read about it carefully.

that blind driver will have every analysis You are getting by side encase, what is the matter i don't get it.

about my sight, i can realize big things around me and Light/day/night too since You asked.

screw all, every new technology got buggy side and lacking at first, but this is just a new technology, even from now it's perfect imho,

however it will developed better day by day

Supposedly there's some tech in development that will allow blind people to perceive images in their brain through their tongue. Kind of like using the tongue as a proxy eye.

So if you want to see what a girl looks like, you have to lick her first. Could be an interesting opener at the bar.
