Best unmanaged server deals?

I've had enough of theplanet.com. Their random issues have gotten out of control. Does anyone use any decent unmanaged dedicated server hosts?

Attn. hosts: I don't want to hear from you. I don't want to hear from your reps.

I don't want to deal with any hosts who allow their reps with shady pasts to use aliases either.

What was the problem with the planet?

We've had a few servers there for yrs and pretty much no problems ever...

If you goto webhostingtalk you will see tons of specials in the hosting / ad section.

Some kind of network issue right now. Two of my servers on the same switch are having issues yet they tell me it's my server. Funny how both servers "have issues" at exactly the same time yet it's not the network.

That statement was made to prevent anyone from suggesting Pacific Rack. I don't trust them in the slightest. Google Chris Gotzmann aka Alex Ferrier.

I also manage my servers myself for the most part. But on an occasion you do need a bit of hands on support so why not go with a company that not only has an incredible network, very competitive prices but also the absolute best support in the biz !!.. Very good people to work with www.techiemedia.com

Babaganoosh I have personally tried several of the so called bet hosts that post here and I can tell you many of them are just a bunch os hype. The host that I found to be true to their reputation for Great Uptime, good prices and the best support in the biz is techiemedia. I came to them over a year ago from a thread i posted here on gfy and i can tell you that I will never need to look at other hosting again.

I know you said unmanaged, but I have to throw my love for Techie in as well. Techie is something you should really consider looking in to. Good prices and TOP NOTCH support.

Whether you need support or not there really is only one host you need to talk to. Techie Media Down to earth superior quality hosting at very competitive pricing. Perfect network uptime, and if it's support you ever need then there just is no other even close. I would say that Techie is a must to be on your list to contact for a quote.
