Film - Food Inc

Film - Food Inc

Wow this is one powerful film. If this film does not at least make you think about the food you eat then nothing will. Having a few huge corporation controlling the food supply in the US is a terrible thing IMHO. Worth checking out if you are in the mood for a documentary.

Plot
----
Drawing on Eric Schlosser's Fast Food Nation and Michael Pollan's The Omnivore's Dilemma, director Robert Kenner's documentary explores the food industry's detrimental effects on our health and environment. Kenner spotlights the men and women who are working to reform an industry rife with monopolies, questionable interpretations of laws and subsidies, political ties and rising rates of E. coli outbreaks.

felt really bad for that hick with the seed cleaning machine getting sued by
Monsano with their genetically modified seed patents.. sued because he refused to turn over his financial records..

Scary how this country it really is run by lawyers... Justice is determined by how much money you have to pay lawyers.

I've been whoring this movie for a bit now and agree it should be seen by everyone...
I went into it expecting a vegan propaganda flick, but it was far from that. Very powerful stuff, especially the farmer being sued out of business by Monsanto and the way the chicken farmers are treated.
