![]() Either Hegre-Archives or Met-Art offers the full resolution 30mp medium-format images straight from the camera. I'm assuming they do it because their members have shown an interest in having it, otherwise there would be no point.
Do you think it's an attractive thing to surfers who see you offer the full resolution images? On a slightly different note, do you think advertising 1920x1080 progressive video to surfers convinces them to join, despite the fact that fewer than 10% of all surfers have the ability to display such resolution? It's my assumption that most surfers probably don't have the slightest clue their screen resolution won't display that resolution natively, but despite that, still want the highest quality file... |

Hegre and Met both have a fair amount of members who are amateur photographers wanting to learn or who consider the pics they offer erotic art instead of porn.
Different demographic, different demands.

Perception of what is art is in the eye of the beholder, not the eye of the photographer. Understandably, it is a different demographic... but arguably these are still porn consumers. I'm a big fan of their work, and I'd define myself as a porn connoisseur... really no different than the guys who surf my sites.
