My mouse packed up so I bought a Logitech G500 - Impressions?

So my mouse broke ... well ... kinda. The left click only clicks once every 4 or 5 clicks ... I tried fixing/cleaning it ... no luck. So I bought the Logitech G500 after reading reviews. Wired mouse, with super high precision and comfort because it's sold as a gaming mouse. Lots of high scoring reviews... but does anyone here use it? I haven't received it yet ... will do early in the week.

Would be cool to hear some feedback from users of the mouse as I know we have some gamers here and it's a popular choice.

got one a week ago and it's working perfectly for me. I'm using the G5 for my main working station but my gf demanded the same quality for the laptops. No gamers here, just love the quality of the series...

Nice ... so far so good! hehe. I work at my PC for up to 16 hours a day so I need a good mouse. My Razer was awesome to use, but both of them have died earlier than expected. I'm hoping the Logitech because of it's Swiss design, will be rock solid! :D

Looks like a good design.

I use the MicroSoft Natural Wireless 6000 for a few years now and find it very comfortable. Also use their Natural Keyboard and it's great even coupled with my mac..

James, I can't stand Microsoft mice anymore ... I used to love them, but every single one I've tried lately has a stiff wheel and I use the wheel in Photoshop for clicking more than scrolling ... when the click is uncomfortable, it's a little difficult to work. So MS mice are simply of my radar from too many tries.

Also, I always go wired now. Ever since I had a bad experience or 10 with wireless! lol. Batterie's dying, signal disconnecting etc ... I just don't want the hassle.

Hell, wireless even annoyed me last night when I was on Xbox and my pad died half way through a match on Frontlines!!!!! LOL!

I only use Logitech and we have a bunch of different Apple ones that just sit waiting for something to happen to either of my trusty G7s.
