Hey, I signed up for Thunderball and got a couple trade requests. Just wondering if there is a downside to using this cause it seems like a cool way to swap trades instead of surfing the web all day and find two that are worthwhile that never get back to you. Thinking of dumping some more blogs in there. Only dumped in one so far to test it out.

If you ever sell your sites and the links get dropped you will be labeled as a cheater. That was my experience anyway.

In Thunderball? Or Elsewhere? Wouldn't that happen anyway, depending on who, where and how many you sold. Did the trades you get from there increase your traffic or or raise you in seo postion at least at the time?

matt cutts logs in every day to see who is trading links and penalizes links accordingly.

Why do you have to do to remove trades if you find out it was a bad choice? without getting penalized I mean?

Its ok as long as you keep an eye on the link exchanges and when thunderball tells you sites have dropped your link/s check them manually before dropping the trade

Well, I discovered a couple things so far.

If you're seeking links you don't get answered much. If links are seeking you they are from people seeking it in the most obscure places (like old long forgotten gallery sub directories, huh?)

Maybe I'm doing it wrong. I'm being lax while I feel it out and only had to verify one.

Yes it's not supporting delete of trade and urls.

You can always email your trades before doing this. Once the link is dropped you can delete the trade.
