Doctors without borders FTW.

Inflatable hospitals + generators + portable sewage treatment system = go anywhere at anytime full response system.

Great charity to support!

Saw a prototype on Dragon's Den (UK) for something similar, except this involved concrete and chemical reactions to inflate and harden the walls... it starts in a box but ends up as a semi permanent structure.

Wouldn't the one in the OP vid need constant filling to compensate for leaks??

Yep. Before the inflatable hospitals, there used to be MASH units during the Korean War.

I wouldn't say constant.

The reason those inflatable castles need to be constantly blown up is because they have air exhausts to make it more bouncy / less rigid and safer.

The materials they'd use, the plastics, and the valves in those things are probably pretty secure.

I am thinking that they are manufactured industrial grade so to stop such problems.....they are a bit stronger then an inflatable air mattress you get at walmart.

I will just hope that they get rid of those things by 2010's hurricane season.

I went to an agricultural trade show and this French company had these inflatable water tanks. The plastic is very thick and hard to cut so leaks are quite improbable. Even if they happen, the company did a repair demo. Seems fairly easy and cheap to do.
