I have an opossum in my back yard

Is it dangerous for the dogs?

I think the opossum has few joeys because i have seen two vultures hanging on the tree in the last few days .

I have never heard possum's being good for anything except carrying diseases and getting into your trash.

I would get rid of it before the dogs do to be on the safe side..

Keep them away from your dog, as they carry a bunch of diseases.

You might need to setup some traps or call for a criter control guy to catch them for you.

My dog would catch them, and I would have to get rid of them. They used to come to my house to eat the fish in my pond, eventually when i had no fish left they finally left.

You simply have to remove the food source, as that is the reason they are in your yard.

the yard it's fenced in, i have seen the opossum crawling on top of the fence, i checked around and there is no food nor dead animals, but i don't know what's beyond that fence.

thanks for the advise.

they are not a good thing, removing the food source is the best thing, but that may not be enough, for they might be getting a food source from another place and just hanging out at your place.
bow and arrow, best way, LOL

think about that
