![]() Im looking to sell my 2009 Audi A4. I currently lease it through Audi, but the buyout price is below what everyone is selling it for on Autotrader, Cars.com, Vehix, etc. so I might just do that instead and make a few bucks.
Ive never sold a vehicle before online, but anyone have any pointers? I sold my old accord to a guy that I knew but that turned out to be a pain in the ass, as when the transfer was going through he got a parking ticket and never paid it and they came to my door. Luckily I had proof or i would of been in deep doo-doo My choice is either to sell it online and try to make a few bucks or undercut everyone and probably sell it quicker, or offer it on leastrader.com. only problem with lease trader is its a bit more expensive and my lease rate is a bit higher than most others. Any specific site work better than others? I was looking at Autotrader and Vehix.com, posting ads on CL with some ads on Google/Yahoo to direct some trafffic.

ebay motors is a good place to sell a car. Make sure you take lots of pictures. Also. You might want to list the Kelly Blue Book value of the car there as well. It is typically higher then any realistic price for a car and people actually believe has something to do with the car business. I have sold a lot of cars online. You basically have to put as many good points in as possible. The Ad is like a sales pitch.
